Sufjan Stevens, Nico Muhly, Bryce Dessner & James McAlister - Planetarium

Sufjan Stevens, Bryce Dessner, Nico Muhly and James McAlister have recorded Planetarium, a 17-track collaborative album about the solar system. The 4AD album will be released June 9th and includes songs dedicated to different planets and entities within the universe. The framework for the project began in 2013, when Muhly received a commission from Muziekgbouw Eindhoven to create a new piece. The four performed a series of live shows together and now years later have crafted the original idea into something much bigger.
